About Us

Chasing the childhood dream of winning gold at the Olympics. I have been sailing out of RQYS my whole life, learning to sail in Opti at the age of 7, I moved into flying 11, then 29ers and am now pursuing my goals in the 49ers. As a result of my performance in the Nationals and Sail Sydney in 2022, it gained me selection To the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS), as well as the Australia Sailing Futures (ASF). One of the most memorable moments for me was winning Youth Sailor of the Year on awards night in 2020. To be called up and given a trophy with so many legendary, successful, and notable names on it really just helped ignite my desire to reach the standard of those and prove to myself that I have what It takes.

My background and goals in sailing has ultimately been shaped by the success of my mother who set Olympic standards for me since a young age. This path has been underway since Junior Sabots however it has kicked into gear in 2018 with moderate success in the 29er. Becoming the dominant Queensland boat and competing at a high-level interstate put things truly into perspective and convinced me to commit to this pathway. Consequently, I remained the dominant Queensland boat and continued to be competitive interstate.

after a successful season together last year i also gained selection into ASF and QAS as a categorised athlete.

In 2024 we have our eyes set on attending Kiel Week in Germany, and the Youth Worlds in Galicia, Spain. We plan to train and prepare as hard as we can to bring our A-game to both events.
